A thoughtful brief also considers the hours on board. A focused regional sector may call for speed and simplicity. An overnight crossing can justify separate places for dining, work and genuine rest.

Treat range as context, never a promise

Published range figures are measured under stated conditions. Actual capability changes with routing, winds, payload, reserves, airport performance and the individual aircraft configuration. Your advisor should confirm the final mission with the contracted operator before terms are agreed.

Ask for the particulars that matter

Before contracting, review the exact aircraft identity, cabin plan, operator, crew provision, luggage allowance, ground handling and commercial terms. The result should feel less like choosing from a catalogue and more like composing one coherent journey.
